I'm in France, WOO!!! (my friend sarah here forced me to write that) yes, i got here saturday and i've only now found someone's internet to steal. The French laughs at everything and everybody. If you laughed at them in reverse they may even grow a little respect or fondness for you. Careful about your host mother being a smoker though - warning about second hand smoking... Is our fashion like theirs? How much do they care about fashion? I should have gotten you the pillow that says "Somebody loves me in Georgetown"... hahaha... Post more.

When I went to France, everyone in our host family smoked constantly. Even between bites at dinner or while driving in their teeny little car with the windows shut. Seemed like everyone else did the same too; there'd be giant clouds of smoke at the ceiling of any restaurant.
