Yes, long, slow, nights of unbridled passion are the best.. especially when you include tasty massage oils.. the cherry ones are really goo-... I mean..Kelly! What ever are you talking about!? Stop scorching my virgin ears!
Anywho, I thought the ending of Matrix was cheesy because of the way they just packed Neo away and you don't know what happens to him... Anyways, the whole point of "the one" was to end the matrix, not become allies with it.
As for the Oracle point, I think that they should have more drastically changed her appearance. I liked how her voice sounded the same but it looked like they were trying to replace her with a lookalike. They should have had someone different.
I will give Matrix kudos though because I must admit that it still had the "holy sh*t! That's f**cking awesome!" factor. I will admit to that. Final ratings, The Matrix, two thumbs up, The Matrix: Reloaded, two thumbs down, Matrix Revolutions, one up one down. It's impossible to beat the origional.

Hrmmm...
I suppose I can see how packing Neo away might be an annoying point in the story line. However, (SPOILER, IF YOU ARE ANOTHER LJ USER AND HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE, IT'S YOUR OWN FAULT! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!) the minute Trinity dies, people *know* that Neo has to die. It's just the whole Romeo & Juliet thing...Only things like Westside Story and Titanic do not follow these rules.
Chris made a good point, however...he was wondering why they brought Trinity back in the second one just to kill her off in the third one.
Hrm. Ah, well, it made for a tear-jerker.
I thought the action was excellent...It was less thought-provoking than the first one, but I think it had more of that on-the-edge-of-your-seat quality.
