Climate
Minnesota is one of the coldest states in the lower 48. Minnesota's cold weather has influenced countless inventions originating in the state, including: The Snowmobile, Waterskiing, Rollerblades, and indoor Malls. Typically, the southern part of the state is roughly 20 degrees warmer than the northern half, therefore, it experiences a much kinder winter in comparison. Although, anyone from a warmer state will still believe it's unbearably cold in the winter. To quote native Garrison Keillor, "it's something everyone should experience".
Besides the cold though, Minnesota also experiences flooding, blizzards, tornados, windstorms, and icestorms.
Besides it's winters, Minnesota experiences very mild summers (highs being mainly in the 70's-80's
F ) ...sometimes the temperature will reach into the 100's, but not nearly as often as states to the south.
Southern Minnesota is mostly plains to the west and southwest, the driftless region in the southeast (a very hilly region full of streams and hardwoods), and hardwood forrest in the midsection. Almost all of this land is fertile and is used for corn, soybeans, dairy, beef, and turkey (more commonly), while apples are grown and bred in the southeast. Southern Minnesota isn't as full of lakes as the northern half, in fact, the south has more creeks and rivers than lakes...though, lakes DO get more populous around the cities and northwards.

Appearance
A little tall and a bit lanky, Sven has the classic build of a Scandinavian...and then some. His hips are a tad bit wider than what's usually expected for his size.
He's ever so slightly toned. It's not very noticeable unless you look very close.
Sven is handsome by most standards but not really ridiculously good looking. His look will appeal to some but not everyone. He has his flaws here and there, especially his easily burned pale skin. There's a scar on the side of his waist, but it's elusive if the lighting isn't right.
Personality
"It's hard to be arrogant while your freezing" is a good way to put most of it. There is minor arrogance, due to the fact that Southern Minnesota also contains the Twin Cities... but it's more of a subtle pride than arrogance. Sven is a very mild mannered and polite individual, who's more than happy to help a stranger. There are certain ways to set him off, and sadly they happen more often than not in HQ. But for the most part he tries to 'keep it cool'.
He's a good person to talk to about your problems, as long as you aren't being needy or constantly self pitying/loathing, he'll try to be open and understanding, but it really depends on the topic...or he will get uncomfortable and try to shift his way out of the conversation.
Sven is good or almost too good at avoiding bad situations between people. He's very social and a good listener as well. But... if he can tell someone is in a bad mood, he will avoid the situation more often than not. He also hates goodbyes, so he will keep you in a conversation for 20 minutes longer than what it was supposed to be (especially if he enjoys it/your company).
