It had been a night since he left Will in their room in a mix of anger and overwhelming sadness. He didn't want to do it, but he was at a loss...he truly believed he couldn't do anything more to help Will with his problems. It was that, and he was tired...tired of all the pain he was seeing Will go through. He just needed to escape for a little ( Read more... )

He comes to the room, bringing an old quilt of his from the closet. He seems Sven asleep and... he can't wake him... he...

So he makes his way across the room as quiet as he can and gently lays the quilt over him, doing his best not to wake him.

He easily stirs and blinks awake, curling into the quilt and looking up at him

[ Madison as usual, is in the library. It's a little known fact, but when she wasn't playing video games, drinking, getting excited at sports, or bragging about glory - she decided to hang out in the library. She's reading a book which she balances on top of a few more as she walks along. Usually this a nice deserted place. At least other than when her father liked to come in, but even then they kept their distance from each other.

Letting her feet click against the floor, she finally comes to one of the couches she normally sits at. Without bothering to look as she sits down, and out of habit - she lets herself fall on the couch.

Unfortunately, Sven is sleeping right there. ]

He cries out loudly in probably the most pathetic whimper you've ever heard, weakly trying to shove her away

[A day of bed rest, combined with painkillers, cabin fever and Mama Bear Kenny, Indy has sought refuge in the one place nobody would find him.

The Library! He took his gun, like the paranoid man he is. And if Kenny asks, it's because he needed to stretch. Unfortunately, he walks in on Sven lying where he planned to lay down. And he looks miserable. Holding his back, he rushes over there ASAP.]

Sven...?

His eyes water and he holds his arms out partially

E-Eli, are you ok?

[Slowly kneeling down, he wraps his arms around Sven. When Sven inevitably tries to return the gesture, he'll try to move his arms upward to his neck, as not to touch his back.]

Don't cry... I'm just fine. I came here to hide, why are you here?

Upon returning his psychology books, Alex catches a glimpse of the other state on the couch. He doesn't say anything, hell he doesn't even give it much thought to go over there and say hello, but something makes him think differently about that. It looks like the other has been crying; and that is something that Alex himself can't stand, seeing people upset.
He knows that it isn't right to just wake up someone from their slumber, but he just really wants to see if he's alright.
Walking over to the couch, Alex pokes Sven in the shoulder gently.

You know, it isn't good to sleep on couches like that. You mess up your back and everything. Why don't you go to your room and sleep; it's more comfortable there, yeah?

He takes a moment but he notices Alex and smiles weakly, but he shakes his head a little. Alex was close to Will, so he figured he should tell him the truth. Maybe he'd know what to do.

I-I'd love to....but Will's a mess and...he's drunk. I told him I'd be in here till he sobers up and gets his act together...

Musing silently, Alex shifts the books he's holding under his arm.

I thought he gave up drinking, something happened or...I shouldn't pry?

N-no, it's ok. Yer close and deserve to know... He overreacted to a misunderstanding and ended up hurting Eli. After that, he assumed I would leave him fer good and drank as much alcohol he could find...
Which...again, didn't help matters...

She doesn't know if she's madder at him for loosing control, or herself bringing booze to that party. He says it wasn't her fault but she can't help but feel responsible. She's in the libray looking for answers, looking for someone to blame . . . Looking for a cure to this disease. But her eyes blur reading the titles of books . . . books about happy families, and normal lives, and for the first time she allows emotions to overwhelm her. Thinking she's alone she cries openly, crumpling to the floor. "What were you thinking? . . . stupid . .. stupid . . . stupid!"

Ugh...this is all he needs. He pulls the blanket over himself and curls into the couch more.

After about an hour she sombers up a bit. She stands to leave and finds a romance novel near the bottom. Curious she takes it to a couch with what looks like pillows covered by a blanket and flops down on it.
