Yup, this is Minnesota's statehood, May 11th! So the two are running around and trying to make it known.... modestly of course.

There weren't a lot of people in the room when Eric wandered in{i.e. no people at all}. He'd heard footsteps and was trying to avoid an awkward conversation. {i.e. any conversation about anything} It did however surprise him to see so much fresh food just laying about. Since it's on display it seems only right that it should have some. {i.e. shove as much as he can in under his arms and flee back to his room}

[ Gabe has a small bounce in his step as he's carrying a few boxes. Mostly a bunch of gifts he wants to give to his neighbors, after all he does want to be a decent one again due to how terribly shitty he was one for the past year of being here.

While he doesn't have the best relationship with Sven, he's still brought some gifts for him. Cheeses, a certain Vikings Jersey, which seems nice until you see that he also brought this article to read as well. Where on the otherhand went nuts with giving Lena gifts compared to Sven. As you can tell with this assortment. Before you open that box actually, it has a cute nature ornament made of Pewter before opening the gifts that were meticulously wrapped and tied together. ]

{And King of Prussia is the one sent on the mission to deliver the birthday baskets, oh joy. All the while wandering around the halls, he carries two baskets in hand. Which are a taste of Pennsylvania, they include: Tastykakes, Hershey Bars, Asher’s Fine Chocolates, Reading Fresh Roasted Coffee, Bucks County Biscotti, Great Valley Mills Pancake Mix, Steel’s Maple Syrup, Kitchen Kettle Old-Fashioned Jam, Great American Popcorn Works Seasoned Popcorn, and Pittsburgh Mixed Nuts. He doesn't even know Minnesota existed, let alone that it was a state. Where ever it is, it must not be that big a deal.
He sighs trying to remember where Alex actually told him to go. He'd rather be sorting through his closet then dropping off gifts. He finally chances upon the dinning room. Time to look happy.}

[He's gathered up a huge basket of fresh fruits and vegetables, ranging from corn and tomatoes, to mint and mushrooms, to delicious and mouthwatering green beans. But no persimmons.

He's also got dapper looking dress shoes for Sven, forgetting that he'd gotten these exact shoes last year, and a simple and beautiful (and modest) summer dress for Lena.
