*hugs* I love being thankful for simple things, and it frustrates me that society has made everything so complicated. We are very lucky that we can get back to basics being in the country, even when I do travel to the city to work. Sorry I have been so bad at keeping up with your journal! How is the barn? We have become surprisingly comfortable living in our tiny cabin! hehe.
Country life does have a way of making you appreciate the small good things a lot more, and I think that country folks tend to find ways to 'make it work' more than city folk tend to.. they want bigger and better, we just go 'eh, this is what we have, it'll do' *laughs*
I am always grateful for a good hay crop (this season was fantastic, lots of rain), for the arena being dry when I want to ride, and oh how I love our night sky and our sunsets. They are beautiful.
I love hearing the good update, so glad to hear that things are going well and looking up for you. Congratulations on the free pasture grazing, that is fantastic and the horses doubtless love it. :)
