I fixed my sound card btw
DTR (or whatever I name it; it has a manufactured sort of name, like the USA or the EU or PRC, not like france or england) is run by a council. 5 people on it, some sort of selection system I don't think I'll be getting that far into details. :V
Currently on it: Male Tiefling (wrathful aspect), who founded the council a ton of years ago, Female Human, token eldery shewd woman I think, Androgyne Aasimar (charity aspect; gender neutrality's common enough with Tiefling/Aasimar that this isn't a huge shock), who is a bit fey-as-in-D&D, Elf male who is the oldest and chillest, and a Dorf male who is a bit brusque but a good negotiator.
Sonaaq was, until recently, a monarchy. Then the current chief decided he had a divine right to the throne and named himself chief-king. Everyone else went o hell naw and now it's a sort of 4-way between the monarchy, the not-monarchy faction, the hardcore Dromites, and then the Warforged who just want to be treated like people. :(. DTR is like shit son keep us out of this shit about it.
Isla- which also needs a name- is a strict theocracy, run by three people: Doyen of the Sky and Stars, Doyen of the Animals and Birds, and Doyen of the Land and Sea. Male, Female, and A Sea Thing, respectively. They currently enjoy the best relations with the various sea people, and never have to worry about paying tribute or otherwise bribing off the local kraken-a-like.
The barbarians need a theme, but they're pretty much TRIBES AN SHIT WOO. I think they're religiously driven, possibly druidic instead of clerical and are kinda pissed at everyone taking their shit. They notably do not have Truenamers; names are too sacred to fuck with.
