isn't it kool how God pulls through like that? lately he has been pulling me to the point where the only thing i can do is fall to my knees and the only thing i can say is, "the joy of the Lord is my strength". and everytime he pulls through and reveals his glory. its hard to pray that our will would match with his, but totally necessary. good point. : )

Welcome to the battle. All this sounds very familiar. This battle for control goes on in the life of all true Christians. Some try to cover up this struggle, and some just give up and choose not to fight. The wise person will admit the struggle and seek advice and accountability from other trusted believers. I see that you are doing that by making this public. That's very encouraging to see. The apostle Paul calls the battle against pride the "good fight" because it is a struggle that will produce "good" results for those that choose to "fight". The fight, of course, is the battle against our flesh. It is part of us, but it is the part that reminds us of where we came from. It reminds us that we are not "from here". It also reminds us that we must stay humble to stay in fellowship with God.
Keep the Faith. I look forward to seeing you guys again on Wed. Let me know if you want to talk about anything. Use e-mail! See ya
