Busy weekend! Bealtaine, zoo, kayaking

Saturday morning SJ and I made breads (mine: aran breac, a traditional Irish dessert-ish bread; SJ: Irish soda bread, very yum), then trekked to the farmer's market and got cauliflower, bread, asparagus, spinach, and raw milk. We headed out for the local CR group's Bealtaine celebration up in Everett

*chuckles* I'm glad to have come in early enough (from the IRL point of view, obviously not the electronic one) to not feel totally like a fish out of water. "Starting things in groups in person is hard" and all that! It's certainly more fun and educational than coming into a group and going "Here's the cookie-cutter ritual, we put you in as Pryderi today."

1. I should go to the zoo someday. I haven't been to a zoo in a very long time.

2. I love Canada geese. My parents' house has lots of them all the time, and, while falling asleep, I probably heard them flying over our house the majority of the nights I slept in their house, for about eighteen years.
