I really should know better than to sit up late at night and read Wikipedia articles about dead mountaineers, Himalayan mountaineering disasters, and so on. Well, statistically, that's very likely on a killer mountain.

You don't read the story of the last person from $X :: COUNTRY who died on the ascent before the first person from $COUNTRY made it, or of the N people who died on the ascent between the first and second persons.
