Congratulations! I think you're the only one who didn't struggle through this. :P

LOL. Why do I get that feeling, also?

Haha, thanks very much. I'm already excited for next year. Maybe I'll even set a higher goal, just to make it painful...hm...

Hey! Congrats! That's fantastic! :) I'm glad you enjoyed the "novel in a month" experience. It's how I write (completely accidentally) but it's my favorite. The last 2 novels I wrote happened in a month.

And you won't screw up the climax! It will be great!

Yeah, from now on, I think I'll stick to the strategy of pounding it all out and not looking back until later--it's much more enjoyable (...at times, at least) and not to mention faster!

I just wrote two chapters of the kind-of climax, and I'm in a really intense writing mode. Now I have to get off LJ before I slip out of it again! Haha...

congrats! I'm envious that you weren't struggling despite your busy schedule esp since I stopped partly because of my schedule. Good luck doing a "Nano" every month- sounds like an interesting challenge- and you'll get used to writing all the time and I'm vaguely considering it...

Thanks! I highly doubt I'd be able to do 50k each month--while it wasn't killer, it WAS a stretch--but things DO go so much faster when you set these goals. Now I just need to finish the novel; THAT'S what will feel the best.

Haha, I can see where the 1k/2hrs would be an impediment. I guess pushing the words out with speed is just something you learn...? Have you tried Write or Die? Although whenever I used it all I produced was drivel, it really showed me how to make writing a fast and impulsive thing.
