When they returned, all three were already in the house; of course they notice the smiles and the entwined hands of the pair, but nobody commented on that. Nino quickly went to his room to find something to cover his neck, it was too embarrassing but he didn’t regret it at all.
Knowing Sho’s lack of ability for cooking, Jun decided that he’ll be on charge of dinner Sho seemed a little affronted for the comment but didn’t deny it either, while Aiba and Ohno offered to help Jun, leaving Sho and Nino alone in the living room.
Nino was already with his DS in hands and Sho was watching the news, apparently, because he was looking more at Nino than he was at the TV. Of course at first Nino didn’t notice that, but soon enough he started to fell Sho’s reproachable stare on him.
“What is it?” Nino asked without tearing his eyes of his precious DS.
Sho doubted to answer for a moment. “I saw it”, he finally said.
“Saw what?” Nino was starting to get mad at the fact that he would have to pause his game.
“Your neck”
Nino finally lifted his head surprised that Sho noticed when it was only exposed for a few seconds. He recovered fast “So?” he tried to sound confident.
“What do guys think you are doing?” asked Sho, concern and discomfort on his face.
“I don’t think that’s of your business” Nino didn’t want to have that conversation, espetially with Sho.
“Jun is my cousin and you…”
“…Me? I’m your boyfriend’s friend” Nino emphasized the word boyfriend, for he didn’t forget Aiba’s sad face.
“No… you’re more than that” Sho murmured avoiding Nino’s eyes.
He was surprised by that statement, but refused to think much about it “You’re right, I’m your friend too” his tone was more calm than before.
Sho looked at him “I just…” he shake his head “… You act different around Jun”
“That sounded like a reproach” Nino smiled slightly.
“Maybe it is” Sho whispered too low for the younger to hear.
“Sho-kun, I don’t know what you are worry about, but can you please invest your time better in Aiba, who loves you instead of thinking about Jun and me” Nino reprimanded Sho.
Before they could continue, they saw Aiba and Ohno being thrown away from the kitchen under Jun’s deadly stare and conclusion that they were “more trouble than help” and “for god’s sake don’t came near the kitchen ever again”.
Taking advantage of that, Nino made his way to the kitchen to help his Jun. But in reality, he preferred to observe his boyfriend’s body, and of course, his abilities in the kitchen; and boy was he impressed.
“Were do you learnt how to cook? You kind of look like a pro”
Jun smiled at the compliment “Well, I used to cook at home, for me and my mom”
That comment made Nino remembers that Jun rarely mentions his family; apart from the fact that his parents were divorced Nino didn’t know much about them and he knew that there was something that bothered the youngest.
“Why are you looking me like that?” Jun arched his eyebrow.
“Nothing, it’s just that…” Nino doubted to bring that topic but he really wanted to know Jun better “…you don’t talk about your family much”
Jun took a deep breath and for a moment Nino could sense his discomfort, but the moment passed quickly as he started to walk to him with a soft smile “You’re right, and there is a reason for that but now is not the time” he hugged Nino. “Kazu, I promise to tell you all about it before this trip is over; I don’t like seeing my Kazu you with that troubled face, and you shouldn’t be afraid of asking me whatever you want to know, I won’t get mad” he assured his boyfriend with a kiss on his forehead.
Nino put his head on Jun’s chest loving the sound of his heart wondering if his heartbeats were as strong as Jun’s “I like being your Kazu” he whispered without noticing that he said it at loud. Jun hold him tighter and chuckled at Nino’s admission. Kazu opened his eyes big but didn’t say more.
It was an entertaining and delicious dinner with lots of compliments for the chef; Nino was so proud of his boyfriend that he couldn’t stop smiling. It was really late when they said their goodnights; in his room the atmosphere wasn’t that joyful, Aiba was not cheerful as always, Ohno was already fallen sleep and Nino had been given a futon instead of the bed, he really was too tired to argue; besides, they were going to take turns each day.
He was having a nice dream when he felt that somebody was tugging at his arm and before he could yell in surprise a hand covered his mouth. Even if he couldn’t see in the dark; that aroma, it was Jun’s. He let himself being dragged out of the room and into the third room.
“Jun what is it?” Nino whispered when they were inside.
Jun didn’t respond, he just hugged him a little forceful but most of all, needy. Something was wrong, Nino could tell, so he gently make him sit down on the bed.
“Jun…” he said caressing his cheeks.
“I just wanted to make sure you’re here” Jun looked embarrassed.
“Silly, of course I’m here. I’m not a ghost you know” Nino tried to make him smile.
“I mean… I don’t know what I mean… I’m just, afraid that you’ll leave me” he really looked scared.
“Jun, look at me” Nino demanded until the youngest did “…I’m your Kazu, okay. I will not leave you”
To make sure his assessment was understood, he cupped Jun’s cheeks kissing him, trying to demonstrate all his feelings for Jun in that kiss, nibbling and biting, until he made him sigh and relax. When they parted their chests were flush against each other and their lips were bruised.
“Can you sleep with me, Kazu” It sounded like a plea “I mean just sleep, you know, like that time in your house” he added to not scare his boyfriend.
Nino relaxed at the last sentence, he climbed dragging Jun with him and snuggled together. “Hey, Jun, wouldn’t Sho-kun look for you?” he asked.
Jun stiffed a little at that comment “I think he knows I’m not coming back to his room”
Nino felt the tension on his answer but he didn’t ask about it, tomorrow it’ll be a different story, he thought. They kissed a little more, just small kisses and felt sleep with content smiles on their faces. It really was a good might sleep.

He lazily started opening his eyes and that’s when he saw them: Aiba and Ohno were standing next to the bed, Aiba looking perplexed, Ohno sleepy, and Sho was leaning on the bedroom door with the door open, an unreadable expression on his face. He nudged Jun to wake up, but instead he embraced Nino closer to his body.
“Jun, wake up…Jun!”
“Too early” Jun complained still with his eyes closed.
“Jun, just open your eyes” Nino pleaded.
“Babe, what-” Jun started to take in the whole situation. “Oh…” he said.
“Yeah” Nino responded quietly.
Aiba cleared his throat “So… you two…”
“Babe?” Ohno was giggling. Nino wanted to die.
Jun put himself together first “Could you wait until we are out of bed to start your questions?”
“Y-Yes, of course” Aiba said.
“Yeah, let’s go, I’m hungry” Ohno was rubbing his stomach “Let’s leave them to put some clothes on” Ohno said with winking at Nino.
“Hey! We are not naked!” Nino was now beyond embarrassment.
Ohno didn’t turn to respond, he just left with Aiba but Sho didn’t move, he continue to look at the couple; he didn’t say anything either, what made Nino more uncomfortable.
“Can’t you wait with the others?” Jun asked annoyed that Sho was staring at Kazu.
Sho turned to look bitterly at him just before slamming the door on his way out.
“Well, that went well” Jun said in sarcasm after taking a deep breath, while Nino preferred to hide under the sheets “Oh, come on Kazu, there’s nothing we can do now” he uncovered Nino’s face.
“That was… like a nightmare” was Nino’ conclusion.
“At least we weren’t naked; although Ohno-kun though we were, what are you telling him, Kazu?” Jun teased to relief Nino’s tension.
“N-Nothing!!!” Nino’s blush returned at full force.
Jun laughed “I’m teasing you babe”
Nino glared at him, but Jun just pecked him on the lips “Come on babe, let’s get up; the sooner the better, I guess our plan is over”
“Yeah, I guess so…”
They were getting up when Nino asked “Jun, did you fight with Sho-kun last night?”
Jun’s body went tense again “Yeah, something like that, how do you know?”
“Just a guess, what is because of us?” seeing his boyfriend eyeing suspiciously he added “he saw the hickey, you know? He didn’t like it so much” Nino shrugged.
“Oh, why didn’t you tell me anything?” Jun was now frowning.
“I didn’t think it matter so much, they were going to find out anyway. But he looked… I don’t know… disappointed? Worried?” Nino tilted his head trying to decipher Sho’s expression.
“As you said, it doesn’t matter now” Jun put his arms around his waist. “Come on, we have to face the jury now” he grabbed his hand and lead him out of the room.
On their way Jun was laughing at his adorable pouting boyfriend, trying to not let the fear get the better of him. He didn’t want to think about what Nino would do when he knew; and by the looks of it, Sho will speak soon. Or maybe he won’t Jun wished. Until then, he’ll enjoy being with his Kazu, making him happy and hoping than in the end Nino will stay with him.
