I'd have to say Sleater Kinney, but for the 05 Canadian tour. Rancid comes a close second though.

I have the live bootleg with the guest appearence by SK in the encore. Awesome set. Can't imagine Rancid touring with PJ, but no complaints; Rancid is some good ol' fashioned ska-punk.

And that's a nice collection of PJ songs, if I do say so myself. Hit almost all of my favorites, save a one or two. But not a stinker in the bunch.

corrine's voice can get a little too high on some of the songs she did with PJ. I loved The Woods, so, in 05, they were awesome as an opener. I've seen them open more PJ shows than any other band.

Here's the list of other openers:
Rancid
sonic youth
sparta
idylwild
brad
steve earle
buzzcocks
interpol
Linkin Park
well water conspiracy
red hot chili peppers
mudhoney
death cab for cutie
Tim Robbins silly band can't think of their name
there's a couple more I'm forgetting I'm sure

Mudhoney had to be back in the day, right? That had to be something, seeing two seminal Seattle bands together. I can't remember who I saw as the opening acts. I think one was Frank Black. NOT a good opener.

well, it was in 2002 at the key arena shows in Seattle. Just before the Riot Act Tour. So, it wasn't exactly back in the day, LOL.

I didn't go to my first PJ show until 98
