Ballet and Burgers
Went to the ballet today with my niece. She was using my MIL's ticket. It was the 35th anniversary compilation/celebration so they did a lot of little pieces from previous seasons, plus a few new pieces. I think I'm finally ready to paint
I think I peeled a layer of skin off my fingertips, or at least sucked any moisture out of them. How did you do that lala? Oh, funny you should ask. I used tsp to wipe down the walls in the bathroom to get any last bits, grime, grease, or other schmutz off the walls before I paint. I need to take pics. 2002 Creekstone Cab....
oh, how I loved thee...
decided to crack open a bottle of wine and ended up drinking 3/5ths...well, almost all of the damn thing. It's from a winery in GA, Habersham Winery. It's nothing all that great, but after 7 yrs pretty damn drinkable.

adventures in window shopping
we got our quote back on the replacement windows. 20 windows - double paned with Argon gas and Low E, 2 sliding glass doors, also Low E and keyed locks will run right around 10K. Surprisingly, the sliding glass doors will cost nearly as much as all the windows. They threw in a window for free that they missed when they came out and measured ( Read more... ) -
You're lookin' at the 2009 Chili Cookoff Winner!
Yep, I got first place this year. Our work does a chili cookoff every year the week of the superbowl. The competition was fierce this year, with 10 entries. (we have 12 employees, LOL).
I don't really follow a recipe, but this year my key ingredient was ground buffalo. I think I will use this again. I liked how the meat stays together and doesn't ( Read more... )
