Patience is the key for online dating, I think. You may not get matches for awhile (or none that appeal) or get "matches" that really aren't. It can be frustrating. We went slow, lots of messages back & forth -- and since he wasn't local, it took forever to meet up. So, I'd recommend staying local (or at the very least, same state!).
I'm not sure if eharmony is for everyone, though. If you believe the questionaire will give you proper personailty matches, it can take the guesswork out of just reading a profile. But I liked how the matches worked -- you had a "guided" portion (questions posed back and forth) before you could/had to talk in "real life." It felt safer than immediately taking it to email.
I dunno. Did that help? Need more info? Just ask. :)

I like how you have the guided messages back and forth. It seems like a good idea. I've read over a few profiles and it seems like some of the matches are pretty good. I planned to stay in the same state to make things easier.
You did help me a lot and I appreciate it. It's cool that you're actually with someone you met on there.
