Long time
I suck at this. I come to LJ every stinking day, you'd think I could take five minutes to post something.
So, what's up with me.
Still working. Which is a good thing. The company I work for has sent me out to various places over the last few months. New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Maine and Texas. Still in Texas at the moment. Been here since March 4th. They expect to send me home on Wednesday. Just in time for my birthday next Saturday. ;)
My down time is filled with my obsessions. And there are many. Still love Supernatural. I went to the Chicago con in October. Fun was had. I will be going back to the Chicago con this October.
Shows I love include The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Justified, Castle, NCIS, and Once Upon A Time. I am in love with Arrow. Stephen Amell has a gorgeous body. And the face, not too shabby either. I watch way too much television.
My music playlist is filled with Pink, Glee (which I no longer watch), The Gossip, Christian Kane and Steve Carlson. Eclectic, I know. I am on Steve Carlson kick lately. I have loved his music since I first heard him back in 2007. But lately, maybe it all his Stage-It shows and newest album and Kickstarter and everything else. I find him truly talented. I am missing the poetry from my life lately and he fills it for me.
I am also trying to write on my downtime. Like I said, the poetry is missing from life lately. I don't know why. I get these little bursts of inspiration, but what ends on paper is cold and logistical. This bugs me greatly. I used to consider myself a poet, but now...think I stick with fiction.
What else? Well, my family is well. Mostly. Dad has another tumor in his lung. They will most likely do radiation instead of surgery. Poor guy can't catch a break. He takes everything in stride.
