This is not critisism (or however it is spelt), just me being silly and thinking too much - but could you burn a cd in -94?

ha! I love it! K. Good question! I deliberately changed it to CD before I posted it. I was afraid today's younger audience wouldn't understand the concept of a cassette tape!

I think the real question is... would Jordan as a high school student have the resources or opportunity to record his own music so that he could share it with Angela... hmm, I think probably not... ;-) so yeah, it's a total stretch :-) But I had to get them up to her bedroom somehow!! ;-)

If the story would have played out today, yes, Jordan would have hade the resources to make her a cd, absolutely :) But since it was the mid 90's - a cassette tape would have been more beliveable, Haha! I would have understood, gosh, does that make me old? :S
