Hi girls!
The Golden Onions awards have been assigned! (LOL it seems like I'm talking about the Oscars!)
Here it's the link to the Writers Ranch:

I'm glad to see an entry of yours. Not because of the onions, but because I was wondering if you were all right. I hadn't seen you here or on MB for a while, so I was tempted to send you a message.
I hope you write more stories, not because of the onions, but because we love your writing. I had a look at the winners this year, and in general, I don't mind who wins because for me the important thing is what kind people like you, Ellie, Shannon or anybody else tells you personally about the stories. That's the biggest satisfaction I can have because it makes me aware that my poor attempts to write a story are welcome by such incredible people. I usually like the onions because it's another kind of feedback and it's fun; I usually like the nominations more than the awards in themselves. But the awards are somehow interesting because it gives you an idea what those who voted liked.
Anyway, I'm glad you're fine, and I hope to see you around more.

Actually I check here at the LJ almost everyday! But yes, it's true I didn't do any post recently, the last one is almost three weeks ago!
as for the MB on the Writers Ranch...LOL I begin to feel so overwhelmed by all the Buck and Jimmy lovers over there, I really miss the time when there were Shannon, Ellie, Jen, Kathleen and all the other lovely KidLou fans that aren't in the fandom anymore!
I too hope to write more stories, Mercy! I even started to re-read my old works hoping this would wake my muses again!
Anyway, I too like the nominations because they give me the chance to find interesting stories I might have missed during the year...even if it's rarer and rarer to find Kid-Lou stories and I don't feel anymore reading other riders' centered stories, even if they aren't anti KidLou.

And, even in the eventuality I'll walk away from the TYR fandom, I will want to keep in touch with you all the same!
BTW I don't want to say that not KidLou fans aren't nice people!! Actually I enjoyed a lot of not KidLou related stories during the past years. It's just that, lately, I need more of old fashioned angsty/romantic/fluffy (or whatever other genre) KidLou stories than any other kind of story. Maybe it's because there are few of them around right now or because of my personal mood I don't know.
And, as you, I too tend to be a bit picky about the stories I like and read! ;)
BTW, guess what? I'm coming back to Spain this Spring! Oh well, I still haven't booked anything, but I'm planning a trip as a gift for a dear friend's birthday. if everything goes according to my plans, we are going to stay in Seville for 3/4 days at the end of May.
This time I'm going to visit the real Spain! ;) And the city we'll visit is the closest to your hometown than all the other I visited until now.

Gail, who is co-owner of Rival Riders the site dedicated to Kid and Jimmy is revising/updating it, and is now accepting fanfiction again.

She accepts all fanfic, not only those centered around Kid and Jimmy. I'm sending her all of my fanfic, old and new. It will be nice to see them up on a TYR related site again, besides on ff.net.
Please keep writing...I enjoy your stories.
