Hi Paola!!! Thanks for your wishes. I don't normally do anything special on my birthday. Tonight I'm going out with my friends... maybe to a Mexican restaurant. Tomorrow I'm meeting some more friends for coffee/tea. And I want to eat out with my parents too this weekend.

The weather here isn't as hot as it was in July and the beginning of the month, but it is hot. Actually, I went to the beach on Thursday.

I hope you enjoyed spending time with your friends and your parents! I think the bestthing about birthday it's having the chance to organize meetings with friends you can't see as much as you want. Usually at our age almost all of us have busy lives, so it's more difficult now than when we were kids to organize dinners, or just meet for a coffee or a tea, so it's alwasys nice be able to do that. Or at least it's nice for me! ^_^

Hi Paola!
My weekend was good, thanks. In the end, we didn't go to the Mexican restaurant. My friend's daughter, who actually is my goddaughter, had felt a bit under the weather that day, so we decided to go to a restaurant closer to their home. The weather was quite weird; it was so windy so while we were eating (which we decided to do outside on the terrace), the wind was blustering, but we had fun. Then yesterday I had coffee and cake with a few friends I hadn't seen for a while, and we had time to catch up and enjoy some good conversation.
It was very nice indeed. Tomorrow I'm back to work :(, so my days of relaxation are over.

XD Spending time reconnecting with friends is a very nice way to spend your birthday, in my opinion!

So bad for the windy weather, it isn't nice to eat with a strong wind!

How was your first day of work after the summer? I only took a week of vacation at the beginning of August because I've a very busy schedule at work...I can't wait to take some more days of vacation!
