She didn't make it.
When Leeloo came home last night she was awake, but still pretty lethargic from the anesthesia. The vet told me to keep her in her travel cage with a hot water bottle, to offer her water and honey every couple of hours, and to keep a close eye on her. I was really worried, but she seemed to be getting a bit better every time I checked on her. At

Mike and I are so so sorry to hear about Leeloo. The hardest part about loving our little ratties is their little life spans. I know there's probably nothing I can say that will comfort you right now, but please know that I have been where you are. I truly empathize. It's the hardest thing when you just try to help them and you sincerely believe you are doing the best thing for them, and yet, sometimes, it just doesn't go that way.
I'm positive that she knows you wanted to help her, and she definitely knows she was loved.
Give some extra love to Sheepie...she needs it as much as you do.
