In that moment, I loved you with arms wide enough to hold the universe, with a heart like the cradle of creation - a cauldron of interstellar waste making nothing but a love for you.
This is beautiful and you write so eloquently oh my god. <333

Oh my god. You write so beautifully, it makes me cry. I really should reread the rest of this story for tkme travel makes things difficult to follow, but I can't seem to stop reading this, just because the words are so beautiful.
I truly have no words for the beauty of this story. Beauty and sadness. It silences me.

it’s the cinnamon that stands out. The centuries of my life, of this life, are dulled by the way the powder lingered on your lips, on the leaves, in my blood too long past the season.
Part of what I loved about Time Runner was the snapshots of whole worlds and the use of visual details or scents or textures to flesh them out as efficiently as possible, so kicking this off by doing the EXACT same thing really tied it to the original fic for me? I mean, evocative as a standalone intro description, but that tight link threw me back into your universe and style really seamlessly which was just NEAT.
death has worn my skin like armor but not once did we grieve.
yeah well fuck you too
