Part of what I loved about Time Runner was the snapshots of whole worlds and the use of visual details or scents or textures to flesh them out as efficiently as possible, so kicking this off by doing the EXACT same thing really tied it to the original fic for me? I mean, evocative as a standalone intro description, but that tight link threw me back into your universe and style really seamlessly which was just NEAT.

tell me wtf to do with this comment. its been sitting here for weeks pulling at the back of my mind and all i can seem to do is FLIRT with it before i get so flustered i have to put it back into its little corner. i really...what do...i think first of all im in awe that you took the whole motive of the original fic (which was impressions and textures and tastes and visceral impact) and immediately applied it to this because that is exactly what i was going for except on an emotional level rather than a universe building level. and then theres the way you toss yourself wholly into this and wrap yourself up in the feeling of it. you literally just give yourself over and let it take you apart, which IS SO BEAUTIFUL OK. like, that you even deem this fic worthy enough of such a thing is mind blowing. i could honestly listen to you pick things apart and pull out favourite things every damn day until im being lowered into my grave, and even THEN your eulogy for me could be 'i really loved that moment when...' and everyone will be like '
