Hubby and I went to Austin, TX this weekend to watch an old friend from high school tie the knot. Austins are awesome. All the random people I met in Austin were so ridiculously generous and kind. I really loved it there.

Did you get a chance to see the BATS?

Nope... no bats. It was a pretty quick trip, plus a portion of it was spent in the hotel room playing DS while hubby slept. Poor sick boy!

Are the freeways crazy as in busy? Or confusing? More than LA, or just in a different way? Inquiring minds want to know.

Confusing... weird multi-lane access roads that run alongside the freeway/highway that you use to get on and off. Also, lots of "turnarounds" that you must use to get to stuff on the opposite side of the freeways/highways. Not too much traffic, though, so when you had to go across three lanes in 0.1 mile, you could do so fairly easily!
