A shout to all my homeys trying to get legal status in the US

When I did local news stories in California about foreigners trying to get green cards, some officer with what we called the Immigration the Naturalization Service would explain that cases tend to take time and extra energy because of applicant fraud. We are still waiting for USCIS to get back to us on the second application, the $840 one.

Yes, but green card process has dragged for nine months.

Not even close to settled. Still waiting for Homeland Security to review a new stack of old documents (same ones we filed for phase one).
