You went far deeperohiomyownJune 2 2007, 20:16:39 UTC
You went far deeper than I expected you to. . .this was totally different from anything I've seen written, but the exact same as many of us feel. So glad you put it to paper. Thank you, Judy
Lalaynia, your thoughts probably cover what others are thinking about certain actors and actresses. Someone like Jake has to keep the big smile for public view no matter how they feel. Being a celebrity or being rich does not mean you will be happy. A celebrity may have friends who are in the same line of work but not have someone to love. Perhaps people in an ordinary life who envy celebrities really have a better life.
In the States,you'd call this a rain check...sadtwistOctober 17 2007, 23:17:55 UTC
Hey Joan :-) I'm afraid the best laid plans went astray today and so I've only just found your poem and it's even later tonight than when I spoke to you last night! It's 12.15am here in England now and I really should be getting some shut-eye.
I want to read "Fangirl" properly and more than once before I comment on what I can tell, from a brief skim,is a work that is going to ring loud bells with me, is worthy of lots of thought and,I'm sure, much praise. I hope have chance to do just that tomorrow. Until then, take care and good night...

If I would call this a rain check, what would you British folks call it? I love learning phrases from other places.
Take your time to read this. I'm in no hurry, and there's no deadline. ;D
When I read your poem you so beautifully captured the thoughts- they were so vivid and real to me. I didn't attempt to capture anything in mine- just wrote what I felt, and wonder, and believe. If it causes other people to think and maybe examine themselves a little, that's wonderful. But I woke up one morning and this HAD to come out. I'm sure you know what I mean.

This is the first I've posted of my writing here. It just burst out of me a few days ago, almost already written.
There are so many incredible writers in this fandom (and you are one!) that it can be intimidating, so I really appreciate the kind words.

Get some sleep now. I'll talk to you soon.
