Happy Birthday! Late, but sincere. And now you're 'of age'! W00t! Good on you for not indulging to the point of illness - one of my college buddies got drunk to the point of sickness on Brandy Alexanders and now she can't even bear to think about them, never mind drink them. Nothing like a little aversion therapy. >D

And you're listening to one of my fav country songs, 'Independence Day'!! Isn't it great? One of the reasons I now like some country is that many great old Rock musicians went into country when rap took over. So country has a lot of rock underpinning it now and that's fine with me.

I think that's why I like it more too. Because I'm a rock fan as well and country is sounding a little less twangy and just singing about their truck or their dog or girl all the time, mind you they still do that, but maybe i'm more tolerant.

I think I'm more into female country singers than male ones but it's growing on me.
