And I've never heard of 12/24 vision, sounds... odd. Maybe it means one eye is stronger than the other? I dunno.

That's good news. It does for me: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/20/20_vision#Visual_acuity_expression However, I haven't ever seen 24/ used. It means you can see at 24 feet what most people can see at 12. However, a migraine induced blindness is a PITA. (I have occular migraines.)

o goodness, relieved that your eyesight is ok, but i hope you get it worked out soon *hugs*
migraines *shudders* hate hate those! i've never gotten complete blindness, but i do get the swirl lights vision and i can't see
