Crash was episodic, contrived, and intrusive. Brokeback Mountain was superlative. When Philip Seymour Hoffman won, I yelled at him to get his pasty ass off the stage (one Zoe Ross Middleton can vouch for this), but that is nothing compared to the obscenities that came out of my mouth during those last five or six minutes. I'm not over it and I won't be for a while, but hey, ARE THESE PICTURES FUCKING AMAZING OR WHAT.
