Good luck! With the quiting and the sleep - I hate when my sleep schedule is all messed up - I am a midnight to 7am - naturally... But I have tried to be what I am not, and I know how tough it can be.

I come from a family where people are either extreme night owls or extreme morning people. Before kids and cancer I was an extreme morning person. My Dad was morning and my Mother is nights. I see it as a very biological, genetic issue. When I was a kid, there were places where I only got to stay overnight once. This was because I did sleep in on Saturday morning and was incapable of being quiet. :)

Can you take melatonin? This has worked for some people I know. Perhaps a Naturopath could give you some suggestions for tweaking your natrual clock. Possibly some food choices etc that would help with quitting smoking.

Take care!

I'm sorry you're having trouble with the sleep issue. I've lived with it all my life too. All I can offer though are virtual hugs and the knowledge that you are understood.

*HUG!*

Thanks for this message, Icy. I'm sorry my post in response is late - I haven't been writing in my journal for far too long! Hope all is well with you - LL
