My night sucked... and this is why....

Tonight I went to a birthday party at my friend Ava's house. Ava is the kind of friend that isn't real. I think the last time I talked to her was, in fact, her birthday party last year. She used to date Andrew and is vaguely one of those party friends that you never keep up with unless you are going to parties ( Read more... )

I hate everyone that is 15 and below. Seriously. And the only reason that I don't say 16 is because of the rare breed of strangely mature 16 year olds such as Ben, Alex, and etc.

All I can say is that teenagers only get weirder the older you get. Thinking that teenagers are a bunch of fucked-up, irresponsible, oblivious twits does not change... Those thoughts only solidify as one ages. Trust me.

Haha. That makes me feel so much better about my experience. I don't know, I feel like a total hypocrite but at the same time I just don't care.

Speaking from somebody who was there, I felt really similar to you. I love Ava, and I like you, and Laurence, and others who were at the party, but in general I find Ava's friends (particularly the younger ones) insufferable, which is why I sat around the whole time. And I'm glad you dislike Kevin for the same reasons I do.It makes me feel more....satisfied in my cynicsm.

Oh good than you know what I'm talking about! I preferred her parties when it was just a really small group and not so many horrible people. At least this year it was all of Elias's BSA friends. I like the old school favorites like you and Lawrence, Deva, Drew, Lian (who didn't come [pout]), and Josh. I have no idea where all the 15 year old's came from. And yeah... Kevin... at this point I'm totally covinced he either will come out of the closet one day or is still wearing Pampers and footy-pajamas. It was good seeing you and Deva (though I didn't really get a chance to talk to him) and wish that one of these days she'll have a real party consisting of people who matter.

and maybe not be so tenth grade. Because the party formula seems to be the same. Though I did enjoy myself slightly more this year than last.
