Went to see Elephant before my 5:30 class. I tookmy mom, she thought i said it was like "bowling for columbine" when i just said columbine. she couldn't really handle it. I drove to webster in silence.
I agree - silence is the typical response to that movie. After hearing about Maddie and Zack's exprience, I chose to go by myself in the middle of the day, so the silent walk home wasn't awkward. It just seemed to pass really fast and I was in my own little world. Then our gay musical-theater addict friend Jonathan (no, NOT Jonathan Hopkins) ran into me on my way into our building, promptly molested my neck with his tongue (again) and invited me to go with Wendy's with him. It was an easy way to take me out of my dazed-out world from the movie. But I'll still probably see it again - for free though.

When Zack and I saw it, our walk home was silent too.
