Sorry LJ, but we have to break up. I realise that we are fast approaching our tenth anniversary, but we are not the same as we were when we first got together. I am both hurt and disgusted that you would wave around my private entries on FB and Twitter. You used to respect my privacy. What happened? I am ashamed of myself for having let our ( Read more... )

Too bad :( LJ wont' re-post them unless you set them to. And if they're protected, then they're protected.

Yeah, I'm kind of disappointed to be honest. :( Apparently one of my friends tried the whole re-post a comment thing on a friends-locked entry, and the whole entry appeared on FB. Not sure if this is a "glitch" that LJ has fixed or plans to fix, but I'm not particularly fond of the way FB has it's grubby fingers into every pie that I like. I think I'm gonna reconsider my use of FB, too.

i don't blame you. i am going to jump ship too if it doesn't get fixed (I am going to make sure that my information is accurate) but what if we don't chat/email or know/see each other in real life? :(

I consider you a RL friend! lol We talk so much on the phone etc (although not so much lately, due to my AWESOME work schedule and whatnot) that you have become so much more than an internet friend to me :P

Thank God I haven't written a post in like, two years. Chances are no one's going to try to publish comments on any of those posts. I thought it was weird to see another LJ friend mentioning something along these lines ("I don't need to ask you guys not to share LJ posts/comments on FB, right?"), but now I see why. I consider LJ and FB to be very different creatures, and would be similarly pissed to see them mix.

I'll miss reading updates on your life :( This just means we need to talk more than semiannually.
