Oh no what was the decision? I love this story and how wonderfully you characterize both the past and the present. My heart broke a little for Rose being almost thought of as god like on alt-Earth buth with no one left who really knows or cares about her. I loved the build up between her and David and their goodbye gave me a lump in my throat.

The Doctor is still so afraid, but does he know what Rose went through aging hundreds of years and seeing everyone she loved die? Walking away from possible happiness because her heart still belonged to him. I know she told him that she stayed with her loved ones, that unlike him she couldn't leave as they withered and died, but I don't think he gets it. Rose is not going to get married and have kids, she waited two hundred years to get back to him. Sigh the poor Doctor doesn't get that she could never forget how perfectly their hands fit together. She is not a normal human anymore. She will not wither and leave him or look for a white picked fence.

I can't wait for more.

Just de-lurking to say I love this story! You've done a really wonderful job building up the characters and the suspense. I've been searching for this fic for a week - I'm so glad I finally found it!
