When there's good news and bad news, what do you take first? Me personally, I always take the bad news, because then I know I have something to look forward to afterwards. The bad news is that I fell face first down a flight of steps tonight. *sigh* I swear I was not this accident prone as a child. I feel like I got beat up and I have rug burns in

Sorry about your friend. What devastating news. I have no idea how someone deals with something like that. :(

Babe, at least you fell down the stairs, which is the normal way, right? I fell up them on Good Friday, is was very, very embarassing...and of course painful:/ Hope you're ok asap because I know how much pain you've been in these last couple of months.

So sorry to hear about your friend. I had a cousin who died from the same, though from memory they knew it was coming for a fair while. Still, no good on the family.
Mmmm, pictures...

Hope all is well otherwise and it's just the burns and wounded dignity plaguing you now. They will soon clear up, but do be careful. Can you believe I turned down Star Trek on Saturday? I did, decided on Inkheart and The Chest Wolverine instead - saving Star Trek for when there are less crowds and I can get the seat I want in the theatre - as you say, something to look forward to. Bet you've seen it by now and all though... So sorry to hear about your friend, life sucks sometimes, the way it just throws things like that at people. HOrrible to have to cope with for her and her family and awful for those left watching helplessly. My heart goes out to her. It's so important to enjoy every minute you have, isn't it. When you hear things like that, it just makes your own problems melt away.
hugs - careful ones - but still slightly squishy.
