So, being the library aficionado that I am, I rode my bike there because I had some stuff to return. However, while I was there, I went rather hog wild and checked out even more stuff than I brought back. Most of it was CDs, those being:
-461 Ocean Boulevard, Eric Clapton
-Pink Hearts Yellow Moons, Dressy Bessy
-Bad Brains, Bad Brains (Apparently, they're this metal/punk/reggae-type band, so I was a little interested.)
-Ritual de lo Habitual, Jane's Addiction
-Footsteps of Our Fathers, Branford Marsalis Quartet
-Bleed Like Me, Garbage
-Revenge of the Sith O.M.P.S., John Williams
-Trumpet Evolution, Arturo Sandoval
-Some works of Scott Joplin's performed by Itzhak Perlman and André Previn
-Return of Saturn, No Doubt (I heard it was pretty bad but I decided to listen to it myself.)
-Chicago O.M.P.S. (I actually could have asked my friends for this one. Meh.)
-American Beauty O.M.P.S.
Additionally, I checked out three movies: Westworld (hokey sci-fi/western directed by Michael Crichton, w/ Yul Brynner as a robot cowboy goes all morbid and creepifyin'), The Road Warrior (Mad Max 2: all that is necessary to sum up this movie), and Amadeus (I still haven't seen this yet, so I'm a little excited; I heard it was really good). Plus, some religious books, including The Gospel According to Dr Seuss and a Religion for Dummies book, because I'm ignorant like that. :P
So now, I'm going to go watch Amadeus or go to read Let's All Kill Constance by Ray Bradbury and listen to some of the new music, maybe American Beauty.
Feel better, Haylee.
