Fairy Tale

Character: The Lamb.
Story: Aesop's Fables.
Ability: None.
Status: Currently, only a select few know she is the Lamb, mainly because she hasn't really been around long. As she gets more involved in tale affairs more will know her tale. She doesn't announce her tale to the world, but she's not afraid to tell others.

Personality

Spunky, sweet and friendly are all adjectives to describe Renée Edgeworth. She's a little bundle of energy with an intense desire to meet new people and experience new things. She lives every day as if it could be her last and can't stand just sitting around ideally as time passes her by. She has fervor for doing new things, but she tends to get bored easily and it isn't long before she wanders off to find something else of interest.

She's highly talkative with a tendency to say a page worth of information in a five second span. This is, of course, an exaggeration, but she does like to talk. She also has an annoying habit of pointing out flaws in a person's argument. Just like the Lamb pointing out to the Wolf his flawed statements, Renée does the same thing. She doesn't do it to be a smartass or rude, she just does it because she feels the need to correct them.

Despite her apparent disregard for rules, she isn't a rebellious girl. She doesn't strive to go against authority and their laws; she just likes to do her own thing. Renée is all about the here and now, so the consequences of her actions just doesn't cross her mind until it happens. Not surprisingly, this has given her the reputation of being absent-minded.

Renée is just a little too trusting of society as a whole. While she's not stupid and doesn't expect everyone to be nice people, she doesn't go around believing everyone is out to get her and will most likely think someone is a good person until it is proven otherwise. Because of this, people tend to view her as innocent and child-like. Add the fact she looks no older than twelve, Renée has been mistaken for a child on many occasions.

It should be noted that Renée's thoughts on death are slightly odd. She doesn't fear death, nor does she find it to be a horrible thing. Death is just the natural order of things - you're born, you live, you die. In fact, she likes death. Death (and the reincarnation that occurs after) opens the soul up to new experiences. This is a very philosophical view, especially considering Renée's generally simple and down-to-earth thoughts.

Likes: Animals, minus dogs. Dancing. Exploring. Flowers. Kids. Lambs. Meeting People. Mischief. Music. Parks. Pillow Fights. Tennis. The Outdoors. Travel. Walking Barefoot.
Dislikes: Attending Class. Barking. Being Scolded. Dogs. Homework. Lamb Meat. Lectures. Mean People. Reading. Sitting Still.
Fears: Dogs. She's especially fearful of big, barking ones.

History

Renée Josephine was born on December 1, 1992 to Benjamin Edgeworth and his then girlfriend Virginia Neville. Benjamin was the adored son of Ms. Josephine Edgeworth - owner of the Golden Apple chain of high-class clubs - and fresh out of medical school when he met the young beauty Virginia. The two hit it off immediately and were often seen in each other's company. Not long after they became an official couple. Many believed they were a match made in heaven, but this didn't stop Ms. Edgeworth's suspicions of the young woman. She spoke very little of her background and it seemed as if the woman just came out of nowhere. She continually questioned her son about his girlfriend, becoming the never-ending pest that buzzed in his ear making him question if Virginia was really everything she seemed.

It was this doubt that eventually drove them apart. Not long after Renée was born, her parents had a huge argument that resulted in the disappearance of Virginia. To this day Renée doesn't know just what caused her mother to leave and it was certain the Edgeworths involved were going to bring this information with them to the grave. Even now, Benjamin gets edgy at the mention of Virginia.

Despite her mother's odd disappearance, Renée's childhood was relatively normal. At least, as normal as it could be, given her father and grandmother's well-known statuses in society. Which isn't all that normal, to be truthful. Her grandmother invested much time and money into making her only granddaughter into a proper lady from the get-go. Socialization, manners, pose and the like were all drilled into the girl. Unfortunately for her grandmother, Renée was anything but interested in being a proper lady. She wanted to run around, enjoy the outdoors and live life, not spend hours sitting around playing instruments or talking about the weather. To make it worse, her father wanted her to be book smart and put her through hours of lectures she only found herself daydreaming during.

As soon as she was able, Renée was sent to boarding school, which turned out to be a blessing. The schools gave her the outlet she needed to release her energy and thirst for experiences. She made fast friends and participated in numerous activities, however, her grades only improved slightly. She just couldn't be bothered to sit in class all day long; she was far too antsy to concentrate. She also developed a nasty habit of sneaking out to explore the town, which she still does to this day.

Like most of the Lamb's incarnations before her, she realized her tale origins at a young age - eight, to be exact. It was a sudden realization and one that oddly made sense to her even though it really shouldn't have.
It wasn't until recently that she came across the online community of tales. She is now an active part of the community.
