Andrew, I think what you're not realizing (and what I hinted at in this entry) is that college doesn't really change everything. If you're awkward and lack self confidence in high school, you'll be awkward and lack self confidence in college. There are lots of girls, yes, but they primarily gravitate towards assholes with tight collared shirts and a well groomed five o'clock shadow, just like in High School. It's a bigger pond, but it's the same fish.
