In terms of album review that might just about sum it up. I am not saying that everything on "rockband" is terrible... but it certainly is not all good.

I'm going to have to disagree with you. The last four albums weren't bad per se, they just weren't brilliant like Blue, and Pinkerton. Theres a difference there, because Blue and Pinkerton were albums which are rock classics, they are the type of things that future generations will remember, like the Beatles White Album, or the Wall. Expecting a band to have every single one of their albums be up to that sort of level isn't fair ( ... )

From initial listens though I do not believe it is "as earnest as the famously confessional Pinkerton". The rest of that quote was I would say rather negative, pointing out that Rivers in interminably a 13 year old boy... thats not a complement to anyone who isn't a 13 year old boy ( ... )

I still love Weezer, although I haven't bought their last few albums. Even if I don't always like the stuff they put out, at least they try new things.
