HARRY POTTER THEORY!!!!

Apr 09, 2006 19:16

Okay. So. I just read the part in HP 6 where Dumbledore tells Harry about Horcruxes and I made this list thing on my board in four colors. Maybe I'll take a picture and post it as an edit... but probably not. Me = lazy. Anyway.

I have decided how the 7th book will end. I feel quite geekish and cool.

Spoliers, etc. Duh. )

Wow. That was pretty well thought out. :P

Hmmm. I durno, I really agree that the fact that the fact that Harry can love is going to play a huge part in the 7th book.

And as to the theories, I think there are two possibilities: either Harry & Voldermort will kill each other in an epic battle (that muggles are completely unaware of) or Harry will kill Voldermort. Either way, I think the world will go on and the ending will be at least somewhat good. But, I'm leaning more towards the first possibility.

I think Harry and Voldemort will both die. Because of those reasons above and also because J.K. Rowling has said that there won't be any HP books after this. It'll be totally over. And if Harry lives I am sure people will want a sequel. Or maybe she wants to move onto new characters. I dunno. But I just think they'll both die because of the Horcrux shit. Yay.

I think Harry isn't a Horcrux. Because that's just too obvious. And JKR only makes things obvious that aren't obvious until we already know them.

*makes no sense*

That makes sense. There are a lot of things that surprise you the first time and then when you reread the books you see how she hinted at them. You just didn't put the clues together.

That is what I am doing with the sixth book now. Because I'm way rad. :)

I don't think Harry is a horcrux. I already thought this theory out pretty throughly and there are many faults to it (such as why would Voldemort attempt to kill Harry multiple times?)

Snape = good. I'm still convinced that he is good. If you have noticed the patterns in JKR's writing, I'm sure you think that as well.

and quite obviously, R.A.B is Regulus Black. The locket was found in Book 5 when they were cleaning out the closets. There is a mention of a "mysterious locket" that cannot be opened. :)

I think it would be convienent to have Harry be a Horcrux. Perhaps he is an accidental one and then Lordy V made another one. So there could, potentially, be 8 Horcruxes. And he tried to kill him because he thought that the powers, etc. (piece of his soul?) transferred to Harry is not safe and wants to take it back or destroy it. Especially if he wants to destroy a Horcrux, he would want to destroy Harry by killing him.

And I also think Snape is good. People have easily persuaded me to see so and, thinking about it, I totally agree with that. I didn't say anything about Snape in my rant, though. O.o

Ooooh, I forgot about that. Well, they don't know exactly where it is, though! :P I read this fic where they were looking for Horcruxes so I am getting that confused with HP-reality. *shifty eyes*

Will people berate me if I ask what a horcrux is?

Yes. :P

In HP, it is an object (or, in Lord V's case, an animal, although that is not advisable) that you put a piece of your soul in. You can remove a piece of your soul when you kill someone because that rips your soul.

In Voldemorts + points, you missed out the fact that he now has the power (or even possibly protection) of love. He isnt capable of loving, but he does still have certain benefits of its power - due to the whole Harry unwillingly giving Voldemort blood, etc, in book 5.

I reckon thats a ++ point, cos it him taking a 'good' power and twistng it

Very clever points tho!
I like the idea od Harry having some of Voldemorts soul in him as one of the Horroxes
