Today wasn't too busy. We had breakfast at the hostel (where Lyssa's Vegemite was a big hit amongst travelling Aussies) and then went to go to some shopping at a big mall that was nearby. Aaaannnd the final catch up post! For our first day staying at the Banana Bungalow we just took it a bit easy after running around like crazy at Disneyland. Final day of Disneyland! We started crazy early, doing laundry at 6am (true on both accounts Mum!), grabbed some breakfast, then headed straight to the park. Ok, so just really a place-holder entry. We spent the whole day at the California Adventure Park today. Went on the Grizzly Hills water ride (in hindsight, should've done it last cos we got wet and had to come back to change), the big rollercoaster, ferris wheel and such. All was awesome. So today was our last day at the Hacendia Hotel so we went for a bit of a wander. There was breakfast at the hotel (which wasn't free - the buffet is only tomorrow, apparently!) The bacon here is really weird. It's like, pretty cooked very crispy and then they just cook it again to serve to you. So it's SUPER crispy and lots of the flavour is gone ( Read more... )
