When Johnny said football, I assumed he meant soccer. He actually meant Gaelic Football on tv at a bar in the Bronx. Yeah, not quite the same thing. Also, if you're interested, we're going to see a live Hurling match at Gaelic Park in the Bronx in the afternoon, followed by drinking and hanging with all his friends somewhere in a bar in the Bronx

forget not the regiment of irish american-civil war veterans who were hired by mexico to fight in their war of independence. the americans had drafted them right off the boat.
