French Toast

Sep 27, 2002 11:09

Made Dave eat french toast the other morning...Mmmm with syrup. They actually (well most people here) don't eat it with that warm sticky goodness and not to meantion they call it Eggie Bread...I need to break these English.

(How did I find syrup you ask, well, there were only two small bottles covered in dust at the store)

I usually have it as part of a big feck off fry up (eggs, bacon, sausage, shrooms, toms, black and white pud, beans - feel free to stop when your arteries have clogged up).

You know what I miss from the states? Diners (24 hours ones). IHOP, Denny's and Shoney's need to start franchises here already. That's one thing I'll give credit to youz merkins - you know how to make a serious stack of pancakes and always have a wide selection of syrups.

K, I'm starving now! :)
