My grandmother passed away around 1 am Friday morning. Her funeral was today. Things went smoothly. now comes the long process of sorting through her things. She was a bit of a hoarder. She was a Great Depression kid, after all. We're planning on having one more family Christmas in her house before we sell it.

I'm so sorry. I lost someone recently that I was very close to, and it's difficult. The whole thing is a process, not just sorting, but grieving. So, so sorry.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother...best of luck sorting through her stuff. We inherited not only my dad's stuff, but also my grandmother's, my mom's aunt, and my dad's great aunt's, so we're STILL sorting through crap.

Belated response, but yeah...I'm sorry, too. *nods* Good luck going through it all. There was so much stuff to go through in my uncle's mother's house, it wasn't funny. So many papers. That's nice about the Christmas thing. *hugs* Make sure to get lots of pictures. ^_^
