And the work week starts again. I never made it to the beach this week, but I did get wonderfully drunk in the middle of Tropical Storm Alberto.

Dude. I got my visa in the mail today. It took my father about 10 minutes to tell me that it definitely was my visa because he couldn't figure out all the French writing. He told me he was going to burn it all so I can't go.

I'M FUCKING GOING TO FRANCE. Jesus christ, It's hitting me.

So I check my cell phone this morning and there's a voice mail from my boss telling me how well I did last night. Then I check my e-mail and there's an e-mail from my boss detailing the fine points of what I did wrong. It's that time of the month so both made me cry equally.

I did my first front and all its inside pages tonight. It's totally lame, but I still did it all on my own. Hopefully tomorrow's front will be better!

Today, which also happened to be my first day of work, was shit. I am not blaming it on work because work contributed the least to why today was shit. Tomorrow will be much better, it has to be.

I dig Savannah thus far. I start work (well, first day of paperwork and i.d. badge making) in exactly 12 hours. Eight of those I am going to be asleep. It's so quiet and peaceful here that it's almost uncomfortable.

I'm leaving for Georgia right now.
