Cyrano Dating Agency; Pairing: Moojin/AhRang (Moorang)
Genre: Mild angst, hurt/comfort
Rating: g
Word count: 497
Summary: He should have never done this because he had told Byunghoon hyung, Minyoung noona, (himself), that he wouldn’t regret it.
Truth is: he regrets it.

And you can’t expect him to smile at times like this. He’s a smiley guy, that’s true. Honest and simple. But he can’t seem to find the strength to smile when he just had to choose between Cyrano Agency -his current home- and himself. When he had to choose Ray and loyalty over his own heart. And he knows he had slipped and should have never done this in the first place: rejecting her, looking at her, loving her back, kissing her. He knows too fucking well it was already too late. He should have never done this because he had told Byunghoon hyung, Minyoung noona, (himself), that he wouldn’t regret it.
Truth is: he regrets it.

He regrets it but everything is useless now. Right now, she must be out running in the dark night, probably looking for Ray as Minyoung noona and Byunghoon hyung are watching her from afar, making sure everything is going according to plan. Right now, he’s only left with a bitter taste on the tip of his tongue, left alone in the night to deal with the loss of what could have been and how his first love has been crushed before it had even time to bloom.

So it all comes as a surprise when he suddenly feels the presence of somebody else sitting besides him. He looks up but Moojin doesn’t meet his eyes, looking forward instead. No words are spoken. His hyung almost never speak and Arang had enough time to get used to it by now.
Besides, he’s afraid to ask anything, do not dare to ask if the task has been completed, if everything’s been settled, if she seems happy to be in Ray’s arms (and not his).
He suddenly feels extremely tired; his breath is shallow and his eyes glassy (though not enough to shed tears).

So he takes a big breath and looks up to the dark sky for a second (because Seoul’s sky has no stars).
When he looks down again, Moojin,’s eyes are on him. It’s a bit dark and he can’t see all of his hyung’s face but he easily notices worry and most of all understanding in these perfect features. The silence is soothing around them and Moojin doesn’t open his mouth once (neither do Arang) but he understands everything. He understands that Moojin doesn’t really know how to tell him (he’s never been good with words) that he’s worrying and that if he needs comfort, he’s there for him. Just, simply, genuinely there for him to rely on.

And Arang feels incredibly grateful for this. So he just gets closer to his hyung and slowly leans his head against his shoulder. It feels nice and comfortable. Arang closes his eyes and he seems to feel a bit, just a tiny bit better.

No words are spoken. His hyung’s never been much of a speaker, but it’s ok. It actually doesn’t matter, because right now, words aren’t what Arang needs.

A/N: Originally written on phone for Kazueh before the episode 5 was out. So I made a lot of assumptions about episode 4 and 5 based on only the preview for the next episode. Posted on tumblr first then here.
