¶ Jaeyi's drabble dumps
History;

Childish Fights

Kim Jaeho should have known better than to innocently lie on the couch in the middle of their dining room. Especially on his stomach, head and chin leaning on a pillow, butt displayed to the whole world to see and most particularly to one ungrateful maknae, Jang Yijeong.

Kim Jaeho should have known better, or at least expected what was going to follow.

Jaeho was already annoyed when he had claimed the couch to himself. It had been a very long day for all of them, and his head and body were aching from exhaustion. He wanted nothing more than take a shower and rest, and the couch had been perfectly fulfilling his wishes before an obnoxious brat had decided to ruin his short moment of peace.

It's no wonder that when Yijeong had sat on his butt, excruciatingly crushing his whole body with his weight and saying unthoughtful things such as “your butt isn't even comfortable hyung, not cushion worthy”, Jaeho had been more than a little bothered.

“Ya, Jang Yijeong, aren't you going to move?!”

If he had expected the latter to move though, he was wrong. The only answer he got were dumb giggles coming from behind, and then hands moving down, slipping to his sides and tickling him to death. Jaeho cursed before a loud laugh was torn from his mouth.

It took him minutes to turn around, considering he was suffocating from the weight on his back and loosing his breath and thoughts due to the constant tickles. He still managed to make it though, and as soon as his back hit the couch, he grabbed Yijeong's wrists, hold firm on them, then threw him a dark glare.

“You're going to regret it” he gritted through his teeth. He smirked when his words made the maknae gulp in apprehension and then proceeded to take his revenge, tickling him in return.

Their fight ended up in fits of laughter, limbs thrown everywhere, and short erratic breathes as they both laid, exhausted, on the couch. Jaeho's arm was securing the younger's waist while his hand was resting on his hip, and Yijeong's hands were tightly clenched onto his shirt. If the position was awkward, it still felt comfortable and comforting. They stayed like this for a long time before the main vocal released the rapper's shirt and tried to free himself from his hold.

“Don't” Jaeho whispered, still breathless, voice hoarse “too tired to move anyway, might as well crash here”. His eyes were tightly shut as he uttered these words and he opened them only to meet the maknae's hesitant gaze. The latter nodded after a minute, carefully returning to the other's warm embrace and nuzzling his nose into his chest, unaware of the explosion of emotions it triggered in the pit of Jaeho's stomach.

Soon enough, exhaustion claimed them, and they both drifted off to sleep.

Kim Jaeho should have known better than to lie on his stomach in the middle of their dining room, on a messy and uncomfortable couch, for it had been obvious he was going to get attacked by an annoying and spoiled dongsaeng. But if it meant that it would end up like this every time -a mess of limbs and comforting cuddles, small hands on his chest and Yijeong's shampoo perfume in the air-, he didn't think he would mind getting crushed by the maknae again.

Late Night Snacks

For the first time ever since their promotions have started -and even before that, when they were still practising all day, craving for perfection, craving for everything that would make them less lacking and much readier- they don't have to practice after all of their schedules are over. Their manager takes them back to their dorm as soon as they're finished, and everyone is exhausted enough to stumble their way to bed before eleven even rings.

This is probably why Jaeho is more than surprised to find a visibly fully awake Yijung in the middle of the night, flailing with a packet of noodles and water boiling on the stove besides him. The rapper isn't completely awake -he has just woken up in order to pee-, and his eyes are only half open, but he can still smell the delicious scent of kimchi lingering in the air and feel his nearly empty stomach quietly suffering.

“What are you doing?” his voice is still hoarse from sleep and his tone is far from being accusing, but it still makes the maknae jump, stopping him in his tracks. The latter turns around to face his hyung, expression a bit confused at first before a small grin falls upon his plump lips, tired yet still incredibly bright. (Jaeho's stomach tingles weirdly.)

“I couldn't sleep and I was hungry.” The oldest stays silent for a minute before he mumbles something such as “don't stay too late” and moves back to his shared room.

“Wait, Jaeho hyung.” It's the main vocal's peculiar voice that keeps him from moving further. “Would you like to eat with me?”

Jaeho turns around, squinting his eyes and hesitating for a bit as he throws a glance to the tickling clock, silently counting the hours that are left before they have to wake up and deal with another day filled with schedules and practice. Not enough, never enough. But there is still the sweet perfume of kimchi coming from the counter of the kitchen, the sleepiness that seems to fade with each passing second, and bright white teeth displayed only for him in the middle of the night. He takes a step forwards, “the water is boiling”, opens the packet of noodles and put them in the pot.

Yijeong's smile is unfaltering under the dim lights.

A/N: I seriously didn't know I could write fluff... ( Late Night Snacks was inspired by Yijeong's tweets on how he was waiting for food to get cooked because he had to sleep and asked jaeho to eat with him or something or was like eating with him)
