Sorry about the lateness of this - I just got back from Ian's and I don't like to use his internet too much, you know? And yesterday was spent going through backlogs of email.

Geez, if it's not one thing it's another, isn't it? Good to hear that the lady was decent enough to postpone due to the flu - someone who works with pregnant women all the time does NOT need to be passing germs around. Mum's managed to get a cold, and she's desperately trying to shake it off before Thursday, which is when she has her pre-operation blood test. She's petrified that if she isn't well, they won't operate and she's already endured enough postponements for her knee op. I've made her a spritzer spray with tea tree, lemon, cypress and lavender and she likes the smell and so hopefully that will help kill the nasty buggies.

I'm also relieved to hear that your nausea has abated - it was rather miserable there for you for a while, so I'm glad you're feeling better. But why do you have to wear a bra to bed? Are your breasts sore or something?

That's alright. Glad you're back and hope that your mum gets better very soon.

Nausea is still hanging around but nowhere near what is was before.

Bra to bed - that is because the breasts are almost rock solid and in bed they 'flop', which pulls on the chest and bloody hurts.

Saw my doctor on Friday, only to find out that she is no longer delivering babies (too busy with IVF), but she has sent me to an ob/gyn that delivers all the doctors babies (so I'm guessing she's good). And I have made the decision about which hospital I will be having the baby in. Which is one relief off my chest anyway.

Rock solid?! Oh, ouch. *winces in sympathy* I'm very sorry.

Mum's still got a bit of a cough, but I'm still spraying that spritzer around like a demented madwoman attempting to banish microscopic sneeze-inducing demons, so hopefully that will take care of it. She's also got a scratch on her upper thigh courtesy of a cat (not sure which one) that she's desperately applying antiseptic cream to because they will not operate if she has any open cuts on her. Why the hell is that when they'll be cutting her knees open to the bone anyway? I mean, seriously!
