Snow Day!
We finally got snow in central NC. For the past few years it has always seemed to miss us and we just get ice. But we got snow! Catalina's school and my work were closed so the kids went sledding in the back yard.
Catalina and Brian went off to a friends and Robert and I went to my office to run reports for month-end. As soon as I got there I received an email saying that as of last week we can now run the reports from home. Oh well. The roads weren't too bad.
I have been working on some embroidery projects and fixing my grey kirtle which is too big. I took out the eyelets on the front side of the back lacing and took 1/5" off the seam. Hopefully it's enough, but I still have to redo all the eyelets. Over the weekend I sorted through stuff in the loft and pulled out my more usable fabric. This is what I ended up with...
He picked the burgundy-ish and ginger linen at the top of the left pile. I have never been happy with his old doublet so I will probably post the question in a separate post.
