Finding ourselves: the impossible dream

The way I see it, life hurts. Despite its joy, that's its heart. How one responds to that hurt defines the transition to adulthood. As a child, our innocence shelters us. This post reminds me of a quotation from Dali: "Have no fear of perfection. You'll never reach it." I'm not so sure the "fear" part applies here, but I'll leave it up to you to consider the second part.
