Eh... How can one go to the extreme lengths of building a Haunted Mansion replica, and still leave out obvious details like a stretching room and creepy wallpaper? Perhaps my own lofty imagination has set my standards too high

I can't believe that 1. they're selling the house on *EBAY* (don't they realize that insertion and seller's fees on ebay take more than realtor costs and closing costs combined?) and 2. that it's only going for $879,000.
But yeah, it doesn't really look haunted without creepy wallpaper.
The auction is being held by the "Theme Park Connection," too, so they must be getting a cut on top of that... But I assume the ebay bit is for publicity purposes.
Perhaps the owner is just so wealthy that he doesn't mind taking a loss, especially knowing that few people, outside of deranged and well-to-do Disney fans, will be interested. Of course, I would've guessed bankruptcy if not for the fact that he's apparently moving on to a Grand Californian replica, complete with Jungle Cruise swimming pool. -_-
The lack of personality inside really is confusing to me. The bathroom was kind of neat, yes, but it almost seems like an afterthought when you see how generic the rest of the house is (especially considering there are 10,000+ square feet to it...).
And I agree - the WDW Haunted Mansion is a lot more distinctive/cooler-looking... But I guess I can't fault people who grew up with a slightly lamer version. ;D
Sadly, I was too scared the only time I can recall running into him (while walking through the Imagination Pavilion's old "Sensor Maze")... You can still see him in a lot of old home videos on YouTube, though, and he did make a return appearance at the D23 convention last year, singing with Richard Sherman: http://youtu.be/OWzNjQ0zdHM
