this post is about my life, the drama i just saw and some flailing
you can skip through the first few paragraphs because it's about my life. and it's boring.
thanks for my stubbornness and this useless talent of forgetting important stuff that i am wide awake, my imagination is on a high and i cannot concentrate. i'm beginning to think that i have adhd or something. although... it could be a trait that can be called, indecisiveness. i don't know. or maybe just like what i said, i am stubborn like that. you see, my caffeine tolerance is really low. give me a couple of sip of coffee or any caffeinated drinks and i can really get super giddy and blabber-ry and annoying and all over the place. so yeah, i just had a can of soda and the result is this, me not being able to sleep although i was up early in the morning and had been walking around the mall for about 4 hours or so. i ranted last time about me screwing up my interviews and stuff, i haven't started submitting my CV to any other companies or hospitals again. today, i received an e-mail regarding the job interview i had last week and they told me that i passed is would be proceeding on the second round. i was just LOL-ing when they used the term "second round" it somehow made it sound like it would be a wrestling match or something. O_O anyway, bring it. i have a brother. wrestling matches is a piece of cake.
speaking of my brother, it looks like he'll be joining me and my parents here in Dubai next year. YAY. *crossing my finger that it'll push through* and me and my mom are talking about the Korea trip that she'll be giving my sister as an 18th birthday gift and she decided that i would be accompanying my sister. *crossing even my legs now*
earlier today we went to the mall because my mom said she want to buy herself some new clothes, although i unwillingly accompanied her and my dad, i think i ended up with more new clothes than her. >_< oh well. and my dad tricked me into having him buy this pants i saw in a store. i was eye-ing it since the last time we went there, which was the other day, but it was quite pricey and my mom told me to wait for it to be on sale. so yeah, he asked me what i want and i told him i want the pants, and then he told me to get it and he'll buy it for me. after paying for it he handed it to me and greeted me happy birthday. he told me that it is his birthday present. although he knows that i want something else for my birthday. X_X sorry if i sounded like a spoiled brat.
i've been on the mood to watch a light comedy jdrama lately and decided to watch MEI-CHAN NO SHITSUJI. i saw this last year (i think) with my sister. we both had a good laugh and a giddy feeling every now and then.
it's just silly how they say it's a school for the "elite" girls for them to be trained to become a well respected lady but they aren't lady like at all. but i didn't make this post to point those stuff out, this is a fictional shojou drama after all. i am making this post to flail. alright, maybe point some negative aspects that i really can't stand.
the plot is really simple. it's like a cinderella story only backwards. she became a princess first, in this story an heir of a wealthy family, and was then tormented by the evil step sister/mother and the fairy wasn't an old granny but a super hot butler who is also the prince charming.

YUM? AGREE? *NODDING WILDLY AND GRINNING FROM EAR TO EAR*
although this drama doesn't involve any magic tricks (just some odd in-a-second-transformation-and-some-the-butler-can-make-incredible-wonders) and what not it still about that every girl's fantasy of having someone who would love, care and protect her unconditionally. plus an eye-candy. a perfect man to make it short.
but in reality, their isn't. that's sad. =(
what's a cinderella story without her little friends right? although here, they weren't really nice to her at first. it wouldn't be that interesting if she'd be able to win their hearts without any challenges.
so they are the major supporting characters who are on the good side. like i've stated before, their behavior are somewhat un-lady like specially during the first episode when rika, rin and fujiko trashed mei's ingredients at the cooking contest. it is unfair and it is cheating. i really dislike people who cheat.
shibata rihito aside, my second favorite is izumi's butler kiba. he's super jolly and adorable. and he is super cute too. YUKI JUTTA... :)
another lady-butler that gave me a good laugh was their headmistress rose and her butler sakuraba(?). im not really sure about his name. and i don't have a screencap nor a picture of them. lazy to find a good one.
another lady-butler couple is tami and kanda. im not quite sure where to place them though, since she is a "minion" of the evil step sister who wants to ruin mei, but then became soft towards her due to her kindness. and i like how they would just appear out of thin air and deliver punch lines.
what's a romance comedy drama without a third party involvement, right? first stop was her childhood friend who also happened to be the brother of her butler, kento.
in my honest opinion, he is a no match to hiro. according to the manga he is supposedly as good looking as the older shibata. oh well, maybe he isn't just my type. i like his character though. i can sympathize to it. somebody who is living in somebody else's shadow. and just being second best. man, it's hard. but his determination at the end and to become a great butler was really commendable. =)
the last couple that i'd be talking about would be lucia aka shiori and her butler shinobu. the evil step sister who is out to snatch rihito away from mei. lucia who, should be the epitome of what a lady should be is well.. i dont know. she isn't very lady like and gentle at all. she is an example of what-i-want-i-get-no-matter what kind of girl.
i want to add more but it already 2:00 in the morning. i think i have to hit the sack and start counting sheep to fall asleep.
ahhh~~ oh well. if you're up for a light romance comedy drama. i think this would be perfect. i give this an 8 out of 10. because of the good looking guys and comedic reliefs that they put into. plus i really like their uniform. and the sheep - the animated and the real ones.
